Indian man claims he gave 13 interviews for F-1 visa and got approved on the 14th.

An Indian man claimed he finally got his F1 visa to study civil engineering in the US after being rejected 13 times at several consulates in India. The man, identified as Prasanth, shared his derailed experience of rejections one by one and the questions the visa officers asked him in an NRI social media group. Once he got the same visa officer, and several visa officers refused to answer him why his visa application was getting denied. But he kept on booking for slots and in his last interview, he was even asked whether he was planning to commit some crime in the US — he seemed so determined to go to the US. He said he was the last candidate on the day his application was accepted and all those present at the office at that time started clapping because the gruelling interview went on for around 50 minutes, he said. The first F-1 visa interview was in Mumbai where he was asked basic questions like why he wanted to study in the US etc. The second interview in Hyderabad was the same, with basic questions about course and university, followed by rejection. From the third interview onwards, the previous rejections started to concern the visa officers, as the third interviewer in Delhi asked him why his previous applications were rejected.Little did he know then that it was just the beginning. The 4th interview was again in Hyderabad. Rejected. The 5th interview was in Kolkata, where the visa officer asked him to apply for an Extraordinary Ability visa after knowing about his future business plans etc. The 6th and 7th were again in Hyderabad and were rejected. The 8th one was in Chennai — rejected. In the 9th interview in Delhi, he was asked technical questions on civil engineering and about his past projects in India. He was even asked if he had to construct Burj Khalifa, how he would do that — but rejection followed. It went on until his 14th attempt in Hyderabad. The visa officer went through his 13 rejections and appreciated his sincerity. During the interview, the visa officer asked to plan the construction of a 20-storey residential building with 5 apartments on each floor. The interview finally ended in success as the visa officer said she would approve his application. The man said he was the last candidate on that day and had to wait hours for the interview. Everyone at the office clapped after his application was approved, he said calling the day the ‘golden day’.While many peopel congratulated him, many doubted the veracity of the story as they said it was almost impossible to get so many interview slots in India.
