By midnight, the little duo was found walking near Spirit Mountain Casino in Mohave Valley, over six miles from their home.“Family met them at that location and brought them back home,” officials said. “They were in good health and the 10-year-old child was still barefoot.”However, it still remains unclear why the children ventured away from home in the first place. For the family and rescuers, the end of the search was a moment to celebrate. “Great job by everyone!” the sheriff’s office said.
