According to Filmibeat reports, the post-theatrical streaming rights for Lenin have been acquired by the ZEE Network.Following its run in cinemas, the film is expected to begin streaming on the same platform. However, the producers have not yet confirmed the same.

Film records a promising opening at the box office

‘Lenin’ has started its theatrical journey with encouraging box office numbers. According to Sacnilk, the film collected an estimated Rs 5.90 crore net in India on its opening day.The collection came from 2,028 shows across the country. The India gross collection reached Rs 6.73 crore, while the India net total stood at Rs 5.90 crore.The film also performed well overseas by collecting Rs 3 crore in gross revenue. ‘Lenin’ ended Day 1 with a worldwide gross collection of Rs 9.73 crore.

A rural action drama with a strong cast

‘Lenin’ is touted as an action drama set in a rural environment. Akhil Akkineni leads the cast, while Bhagyashri Borse plays the female lead.Murali Kishor Abburu has handled both the writing and direction, while Thaman S has composed the music.ETimes review read, “Returning after a three-year gap, Akhil Akkineni settles comfortably into his first full-fledged rural role. He underplays the character for much of the film before delivering his strongest performance in the emotionally charged climax. Bhagyashri Borse is convincing as free-spirited Bharathi, while the supporting cast lends credibility to the story. Sivaji, despite an effective screen presence, feels somewhat underused.
