JAC Jharkhand Board Class 10th Results declared: Gumla emerges as top-performing district; check how each district fared

The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has reported a strong performance in the Class 10 board exams this year. With an overall pass percentage of 95.27 per cent, the results show that high scores are not limited to a few pockets, but they are spread across the state.Gumla has emerged as the top-performing district, recording an impressive pass percentage of 99.32 per cent, with 13,667 students clearing the exam out of 13,760 who appeared. Dumka followed closely at 99.02 per cent, while Pakur secured the third spot with 98.56 per cent.Meanwhile, East Singhbhum recorded a pass percentage of 98.02 per cent, while Bokaro stood at 96.43 per cent and Dhanbad at 95.84 per cent. Ranchi, the state capital, reported a pass percentage of 94.75 per cent.Several districts in the mid-range bracket have also posted solid numbers. Latehar (96.90 per cent), Sahebganj (96.22 per cent), and Palamu (96.01 per cent) all crossed the 96 per cent mark. Deoghar, Hazaribagh, Ramgarh, and West Singhbhum recorded pass percentages between 94 and 95 per cent.At the lower end, districts such as Simdega (92.29 per cent), Garhwa (91.71 per cent), Khunti (91.58 per cent), and Chatra (91.20 per cent reported comparatively lower pass percentages — though all remained above 90 per cent.Overall, the district-level data shows a relatively narrow gap between top and bottom performers, suggesting that improvements in academic outcomes have been fairly consistent across regions.This aligns with the broader trend seen in the state results. Earlier, JAC reported that 4,02,178 out of 4,22,109 students passed the exam, pushing the overall pass percentage to 95.27 per cent.
