Salman Khan is all set for the release of his upcoming international venture ‘7 Dogs’, which brings together Egyptian actors Karim Abdel-Aziz and Ahmed Ezz alongside Monica Bellucci, Giancarlo Esposito and Sanjay Dutt. The actor feels the film is designed for a true big-screen experience, and speaks about its grand scale, intense action sequences, and the coming together of different film industries and cultures.

Salman Khan on the film’s grand scale

In an interview with Variety India, Khan said, “‘7 Dogs’ is a big-screen film in every sense. The scale, the action, the world they’ve created, it’s all very grand. Turki (Turki Alalshikh, co-writer) and the team have backed it on a huge scale, and Adil and Bilall (Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, directors) have brought their experience of making international action films into it.”

Salman Khan on the ambition of Arab cinema

The actor talked about what impressed him most during the project, particularly the growing ambition of Arab cinema and its attempt to expand its reach to audiences far beyond its own region. “What I also found exciting was seeing the ambition and energy of Arab cinema today, and how it is opening itself up to a global audience without losing its own identity,” he reveals.
