Carla Jeffery, best known for playing Bree in Disney’s Z-O-M-B-I-E-S franchise, has sadly passed away at just 33.Her talent agency, Alexanders Talent Management, announced her death in a moving Instagram post. While details about her demise have not yet been disclosed, it was confirmed that the actress passed away on Tuesday, September 1.

“It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Carla Jeffery,” the agency said.Sharing a photo of tha actress, the agency also put out a note that read, “Our hearts are broken as we mourn the loss of our beloved Carla Jeffery. For more than 20 years, Carla was part of the Alexanders Talent Management family, and watching her grow from a talented young girl into the beautiful, vibrant woman and actress she became was an incredible privilege,” the statement continued.“We will remember her infectious smile, her laughter, her talent, and the beautiful light she carried everywhere she went.”The agency extended its “deepest love and condolences” to Jeffery’s family and loved ones and asked the public to respect their privacy during the difficult time.“Rest beautifully, Carla. You will be deeply missed and forever loved. Your light will never be forgotten,” the statement concluded.Jeffery was widely recognised for her role as Bree, the bubbly cheerleader and best friend of Addison in ‘Zombies 2’ and ‘Zombies 3’. She later returned to voice the character in ‘Zombies: The Re-Animated Series’.Before joining the franchise, Jeffery appeared in several television shows, including ‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’, ‘Uncle Buck’ and ‘American Vandal’. She also played Keysha Black in 10 episodes of ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ and portrayed Janila on the police drama ‘Southland’.The news of her death has prompted an outpouring of tributes from fans and those who worked with the actress.
