Following her arrest, Spears has been spending more and more time with her sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston, and has also checked herself into a rehab.

Amid the ongoing drama surrounding her DUI arrest, among other things, PEOPLE reported that Spears is choosing to focus on her family. The report cited that while it can become hard for the singer to “maintain relationships”, especially when she is not doing well, she still wishes to keep in contact with her sons.
A statement from the report read, “When she’s not in a good place, it’s almost impossible for her to maintain any kind of steady connections. She wants to be a good mom, though. She really loves Preston and Jayden and listens to them. For Britney, it’s amazing that she gets to spend time with them again. It makes her very happy.”

The report also cited that Spears’ sons were one of the main reasons why the singer willingly and voluntarily admitted herself into the rehab facility. “They’ve been clear with her. They just want her to be healthy,” another statement read.The report also stated that “People around her do care a lot and are constantly trying to support her, but it can be difficult. There have been a lot of concerns since the arrest.”
