Amitabh Bachchan has always been quite candid about life, everyday happenings, and his connection to other people in his blog posts. The ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ host recently looked back on the bond and connection he shares with his son, Abhishek Bachchan, in one of his recent posts on the website.

In his latest blog post, the Bollywood legend wrote about his bond with his son and how a father and son may have differing opinions; however, they all have the same destination to go to at the end of the day.He wrote, “Pita putra dono rahe, ek manch par baithai; vichar alag alag ho chaahe, manzil ke hi aithe (Both father and son sit together on the same stage; their views may differ, but their destination remains the same).” He further added, “Respect for the next generation ever… but the destination is ever the same… that be the ideal of every path taken… and that has ever been the relation—seek, discover, understand, and design the destination that be common to all in its beneficial incarnation: love, respect, and in a while the love of the well-wishers.“
On the work front with Amitabh Bachchan
The veteran icon has been hosting ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ for decades now and was last seen on the big screen in ‘Vettaiyan,’ which T. J. Gnanavel directed. Currently, Bachchan is prepping for his return in the sequel to ‘Kalki 2898 AD,’ which Deepika Padukone previously led. Nag Ashwin, who will direct the movie, recently confirmed that filming will commence next month and plans to wrap everything up by mid-2027. Along with Bachchan, Prabhas and Kamal Haasan will also reprise their roles in the sequel.The first film is set in a dystopian future where Earth is now a dry wasteland, and the only surviving city, Kasi, is ruled by the evil Supreme Yaskin. The story revolves around a bounty hunter, an immortal warrior, and a pregnant woman who all cross paths to save an unborn saviour, said to be Kalki, the final form of Vishnu and humanity’s saviour.
