His property is located within Hollister Ranch, which in itself spans 14,400 acres. The space is a gated residential community located in Santa Barbara County. James Cameron isn’t the only A-Lister living in the county; Jackson Browne, James Arness, and Yvon Chouinard, among many others, also own property there. The property also offers residents views and access to private beaches and hiking trails.

It’s not precious.” The entire home is filled to the brim with Balinese and Indonesian-inspired furnishings to add a touch of culture to the modern home. He also shared that there is a Dionysus head in the living room that he got from a New York hotel.

The separate 2,000-square-foot guest house became another secluded workspace for Cameron while he worked on his films.The star also opted to keep his home sustainable and green and had solar panels installed to save energy. He also had a 24,000-square-foot barn area that he used to store helicopters, submarines, and robotic equipment for expeditions. There is also a tennis court and a helipad on his property, along with paddocks and ranch offices.
