Plot of ‘Korean Kanakaraju’
Speaking about the film, ‘Korean Kanakaraju’ follows Varun Tej as Kanakaraju, who is a hot-tempered but carefree young man. He runs a traditional Bhajana troupe while trying to take care of his family.Kanakaraju is in love with Chaitra, a local girl who works at a motor plant. Chaitra dreams of going to South Korea and is fascinated by Korean culture, K-pop and K-dramas.However, Kanakaraju’s life changes after a strange incident involving a Korean man.A mysterious vessel carrying the remains of a Korean man arrives, leading to a strange accident. Kanakaraju drinks its contents and becomes possessed by the Korean man’s spirit.After this, Kanakaraju starts showing incredible speed and martial arts skills whenever someone talks about Korea. He also develops sword-fighting abilities.The spirit has an unfinished mission that can only be completed in South Korea. To get his normal life back, Kanakaraju travels to Korea with Chaitra and his photographer friend Krishnappa. Kanakaraju must find out what the spirit wants and complete its unfinished mission to break free from it.
