ETimes praises ‘Vishwanath and Sons’ ending
‘Vishwanath and Sons’ revolves around a business tycoon and an Olympian. Their lives become connected through their surrogate child. The story examines whether their relationship can develop into marriage despite their reservations and age difference. The review reads, “The film chooses to refer to this aspect as “Santa Claus”, but the idea leaves behind a whiff of a platonic sugar-daddy dynamic, something the film had worked hard to avoid until then. But to Venky Atluri’s credit, the ending is sensible; it avoids being either a problematic message or an easy cop-out. It’s smart and satisfying.”DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers and the data in this article are compiled from public and industry sources.
