‘Stranger Things’ star Noah Schnapp, aka Will Byers, has gone public with his new mystery boyfriend, as the couple celebrates a relationship milestone. Noah publicly came out as gay back in January 2023, nearly half a year after his character Will Byers was confirmed to be gay in ‘Stranger Things’ season 4.

Noah took to his Instagram Stories on Wednesday, April 1, to celebrate one month of dating his new guy by sharing a cute photo of them. “One month of us,” Noah captioned the photo with a heart emoji. The photo features Noah with his arms wrapped around the back of his mystery man. Meanwhile, this mystry man has both arms wrapped around Noah‘s shoulders.
When Noah Schnapp came out
Noah publicly came out as gay back in January 2023. “When I finally told my friends and family I was gay after being scared in the closet for 18 years and all they said was ‘we know,'” Noah wrote as a caption in a TikTok video.In the video, Noah lip-synced to someone saying, “You know what it never was? ‘That serious.’ It was never that serious. Quite frankly, it will never be that serious.” Noah captioned the post, “I guess I’m more similar to will than I thought.”
Noah Schnapp is grateful for his ‘Stranger Things’ character
Noah Schnapp has also reflected that he is grateful for his ‘Stranger Things’ character, Will Byers, in helping him come out as gay. In a 2023 interview with Variety, Schnapp opened up about how having his Stranger Things character Will Byers embrace his sexuality on the series eventually allowed him to do the same. “Once I did fully embrace that Will was gay, it was just an exponential speed towards accepting it for myself,” he said at the time. “I would be in a completely different place if I didn’t have Will to portray, and to embrace and help me accept myself.”And, certainly, Noah is now more open about his sexuality and is embracing it with a new relationship.
